Run by volunteers for the community

The Worrall Community Association (WCA) became a registered charity in 1990 and, more recently in 2009, a company limited by guarantee, managed by a voluntary board of directors.

Each director holds an area of responsibility, with a key focus on ensuring the hall runs on a sound financial basis, supported by a contingency fund, weekly user groups, private hires and fundraising events.

The Directors also oversee maintenance of the building, including recent renovation work, and support local and national charities through donations and grants.
